1975
Joe and Dalia Levoff opened “More Than Waffles” in the first shopping center on Ventura Boulevard (Encino Town Center).
1989
The current owner, Ika found herself at home in the restaurant, beginning as a waitress and eventually becoming its manager.
1994
A gentleman named Greg Taft entered the restaurant and stole Ika's heart. In the next few years she became, Mrs. Ika Taft.
1998
Joe Levoff decided to retire; he offered Ika and Greg the opportunity to purchase the restaurant, as he knew it would remain in the caring hands of the couple. Later that year they purchased the restaurant.
2024
Greg and Ika continue to run the restaurant, with their daughter Henny in the same time-honored tradition as the past.
